Reasons to Appreciate the Empty Nest   Here are some great reasons to appreciate having an empty nest: Your time is your own. The thrill of seeing them walk through the door, whether every week or once a year, is something every parent will grow to look forward to and appreciate as their children grow up and away from home. As your children evolve into adults with lives, opinions, and passions of their own, they will bring back to you so much to learn and admire, and you may find yourself wondering who these grown-up people are. All the people I know that are kin to me practice steadfastness no matter difficulty or delay in achieving success or perseverance is how to live life. I interviewed three people: my dad, mom, my mom s dad, and myself. The people of my my kin are extremely persistent and resilient. Childhood was probably the hardest time in my father’s life. After his mom died when he was 12, my father took care of his brother as if he was his child. as a result of, he was raised by his great-grandmother, forced to move around often, and changed schools mainly in Swannanoa. Even though my dad had a tough childhood, he always looked at the silver lining through the toughest obstacles in his life. Consequently to him not having much family support my pa’s grades weren t high. When he was seventeen he left Swannanoa to join the army. The first time in his life was recognized for excelling was when he excelled at the army since it was. In only four years of service he became a sergeant. in order to head to college they kicked him out he made it as far as possible until then. A little of a brute, that’s my dad and that who my mom met after finishing school with her major in psychology.

On the face of it, that sounds terrible. Why even have Congress go through the legislative process if presidents can unilaterally re-write the laws it enacts? Before flatly condemning them, there are some things you need to know about presidential signing statements. Article I, Section 1 clearly states, All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives. Not in a Senate and House and a president. Along the long road of committee consideration, floor debate, roll call votes, conference committees, more debate and more votes, the Congress alone creates the legislative history of a bill. It can also be argued that by attempting to reinterpret or even nullify parts of a bill which he has signed, the president is exercising a type of line-item veto, a power not currently bestowed on presidents. Tough the practice pre-dates his administration, some of the signing statements issued by President George W. Bush were criticized for including language that too extensively changing the meaning of the bill.
